Food Security, Water, and Sanitation<\/h1>

At Community Action for Health and Development (CAHED)<\/strong>, we recognize that access to nutritious food, safe water, and proper sanitation is not just a basic human right but also a critical foundation for sustainable development. Our interventions in food security, water, and sanitation<\/strong> aim to empower communities\u2014particularly vulnerable households, women, and youth\u2014to build resilience against poverty, hunger, and the impacts of climate change.<\/p>

Why Food Security and Clean Water Matter<\/h2>

Millions of families across Kenya and Africa face the daily challenge of inadequate food, unsafe water, and poor sanitation facilities. These challenges lead to malnutrition, frequent disease outbreaks, and reduced productivity in both schools and communities. By addressing food insecurity and improving access to water and sanitation, CAHED helps communities live healthier, more dignified, and sustainable lives.<\/p>
